How to do video call on whatsapp

To make a video call on WhatsApp, follow these steps:

  1. Open WhatsApp: Ensure you have the WhatsApp app installed on your smartphone and that you are logged in with your phone number.

  2. Go to Contacts: Open the app and go to the andquot;Chatsandquot; tab at the bottom of the screen. You will see a list of your recent chats.

  3. Select a Contact: Choose the contact you want to video call. You can either tap on an existing chat or go to your contact list by tapping the pencil icon or the chat icon in the top-right corner, then selecting the contact.

  4. Initiate the Video Call:

    • If you are in an existing chat, tap the video camera icon at the top-right corner of the chat window.
    • If you are in your contact list, tap on the contactand#39;s name to open the chat window, then tap the video camera icon at the top-right corner.

  5. Wait for the Call to Connect: WhatsApp will attempt to connect the video call to the selected contact. If the contact accepts your call, the video call will begin, and you can start chatting.

  6. During the Video Call:

    • You can switch between your deviceand#39;s front and rear cameras by tapping the camera switch icon.
    • Mute your microphone by tapping the microphone icon.
    • Turn off your video by tapping the video camera icon.
    • You can also use other features such as sending messages, sharing media, and more during the call.

  7. End the Call: To end the video call, tap the red phone icon at the bottom of the screen.
