On 31 December 1929, in the Congress session in Lahore, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru accepted the concept of complete sovereignty. And it was eaten by the British government that if the country was not given domination status on 26 January 1930, then Purna Swaraj would be declared. And on this day Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the tricolor for the first time in the country. But the country got independence on 15 August 1947, but 26 January was officially considered as the Republic Day of the country.

On this day, a special ceremony is held by the President of India in the name of the country’s heroes, in which the country’s heroes are awarded with the country’s highest awards. We also know all this by the name of the country’s parade.
The country’s first parade was held on 26 January 1950 at the National Stadium, also known as the Irwin Stadium, instead of on the Rajpath. The Republic Day parade was started for the first time in 1955 at Rajpath and till now this parade is held at the same place.
